What do you do on a Sunday afternoon?

I drive around town and find country singers' homes. My friend Myriam knows where a few live so she took us around town tonight. This lovely home is Alan Jackson's. We first drove up a normal looking road with normal looking houses but the road kept going and then there was massive amounts of land and then this huge gated home. We also got a look of Martina McBride's home but it was too dark to get a good picture. I'll have to go back another time.

My first pizza!

One of my new year resolutions is to become an amazing cook like my mom. I know it may be a little ambitious to try to have happen in one year, but I have got to start somewhere. Here is a picture of my first ever pizza! I don't have a pizza stone or even circular pan so I didn't worry too much about the shape of the crust. The important thing is, it tasted great! It sure takes all night though. One good thing about being single, I've got lunch all week! Thanks for all of the wonderful meals you've made day after day after day, mom. Love you.

Slumber Party

In efforts of maintaining my "favorite aunt" status, I decided to throw a slumber party for my nieces and nephew that live in Utah. Six of the seven were able to make it. We all missed Sabrina but she was home sick. We had a blast. First, we played in the snow where we made a snowman, made snow angels and had a snowball fight. Then, we came in and had hot chocolate and pizza. Then, we decorated cookies. Last, we popped in a few movies. Kate and Abbey were the winners who stayed up til midnight. Payton was close but fell asleep around 11:30. In the morning, Grandma taught them how to make slime. Overall it was a lot of fun. Below are a few pictures.
